Policies & FAQs

Everything you need to know.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour in advance to receive a full refund.

  • If you need to reschedule, please reach out as soon as possible, and I will accommodate you.

  • Appointments may be rescheduled at no additional charge.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Refund Policy

Due to health and safety regulations, I do not offer refunds on piercing services once the service has started.

  • Earrings are pre-packaged in sterile, one-time-use cartridges and cannot be reused once opened. If you choose to not go through with the piercing after the earrings cartridge has been opened, I will offer a 50% refund. However, you are welcome to take them home and come back for the piercing with a credit when ready. Credits do not expire and can be used on friends and family.

  • If you change your mind or no longer can make it, you will receive a 100% refund.

  • If you are unsure about your piercing, or suspect your child may be nervous, please reach out to me for added time, reassurance, and a relaxed experience.

Child Consent Policy

If a child is visibly upset, resistant, or does not want the piercing, I will not proceed with the piercing. I believe in making this experience positive and comfortable for every client, especially children.

Payment Policy

To ensure a quick and efficient appointment, I require:

  • Full payment in advance - this secures your appointment and minimizes delays.

  • Forms completed prior to your appointment - all necessary waiters and paperwork will be sent ahead of time so you can arrive ready to go!

By completing the payment and forms in advance, we can focus on your piercing experience and get you in and out smoothly.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I change my earrings?

Minimum 6 weeks for lobe piercings and 12 weeks for helix piercings. You can keep them in longer if you’d like to allow for additional healing.

Do you pierce children only?

No! Don’t let my pediatric experience fool you—I pierce all ages and genders.

How often do I have to clean them?

2-3 times a day.

What age do you recommend for piercing?

It varies because every child is different—some are eager and ready, while others need more time. Older kids (3 and up) are often excited but nervous once in the chair. The most important factor is making sure they are comfortable, ready, and willing to get their ears pierced.

Have you ever done one side and not the other?

Yes—and that's okay. There's no pressure and you can always come back when ready.

I have a metal allergy. What do you recommend?

For those with a history of metal allergies (or a family history of allergies), I recommend medical-grade titanium for the safest, most hypoallergenic option.

What types of earrings do you have?

My inventory varies, but I always have:

  • Gold-plated and Gold with cubic zirconia or diamonds

  • Surgical steel

  • Medical-grade titanium

I want a specific earring style. Can I pick in advance?

Yes! Inverness has tons of earring options to choose from. Let me know what you’re looking for, and I can order it for you! Options include flowers, hearts, crowns, colored studs, stars, real diamonds, gold, and more!

Do You Pierce Noses?

No, I only pierce ears. If you’re looking for a nose piercing, I recommend visiting a licensed body piercer at a tattoo/piercing studio.

What Happens If My Child Doesn’t Go Through With It?

No problem! If they decide not to go through with it, you’ll receive a credit or refund to use whenever they’re ready.

Is There Ever a Situation Where You Won’t Pierce?

Yes. Sometimes, earlobe anatomy, prior piercings, uneven holes, or tears may restrict me from piercing. Additionally, if I feel that someone is being pressured into getting pierced and isn’t truly ready, I will suggest coming back when they feel comfortable. My goal is to ensure both the person getting pierced and their legal guardian feel completely comfortable!
