Hollow needle piercing is commonly used for cartilage piercings (helix, forward helix, conch, tragus, etc.) and select earlob piercings.

  • Area is cleaned and prepped using proper infection-control procedures

  • A sterile, single-use hollow needle is used

  • Jewelry is inserted immediately after the piercing
