1. Am I qualified?
✔ Yes! I am an ear piercer who has completed the necessary training, and my studio is inspected and approved by the New Jersey Department of Health.
✔ I am NOT operating under my nursing license—I perform piercings as a trained ear piercer, not as a nurse.
✔ However, my years of nursing experience, along with my training in sterile technique, bloodborne pathogens, and pediatrics, enhance the piercing experience by ensuring a calm, hygienic, and professional approach to ear piercing.
2. Did I Complete an Apprenticeship?
❌ No, because I am not a body piercer.

In New Jersey, body piercers (who use needles for cartilage and body piercings) must complete an apprenticeship and 1,000+ hours of training.

However, ear lobe piercing with a medical device does NOT require an apprenticeship. I have completed all necessary training required for ear lobe piercing establishments.
3. Why I Don’t Need an Autoclave
